Texas Land & Air is a verified full participant in the U.S. Customs Trade
Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program. Launched in April 2002, C-TPAT is
a joint government-business initiative designed to ensure that proper security
procedures are in place to protect the flow of global trade. Through C-TPAT,
U.S. Customs has joined with the owners of the supply chain -- importers, carriers,
brokers, warehousemen and manufacturers -- to provide the highest level of security
while facilitating the movement of goods entering the United States.
Joining the C-TPAT requires a rigorous self-assessment of supply chain security
using the C-TPAT security guidelines created by Customs and the trade community.
Companies must also implement a program to enhance security throughout the supply
chain in accordance with the C-TPAT guidelines. Texas Land & Air devotes considerable time
and expense to ensure that the C-TPAT standards are maintained.
Texas Land & Air ensures 100% of its staff, warehouse crews and drivers are
IAC trained as well as having an STA (Security Threat Assessment) number issued
by the Department of Homeland Security. |

Texas Land & Air also supports the national defense of the United States and mandates
that all of its drivers join the Highway Watch® Program. Highway Watch® is a national
safety and security program that utilizes the skills, experience, and “road smarts” of
America’s transportation workers to help prevent terrorists from using large vehicles
or hazardous cargoes as weapons and to protect America’s critical highway transportation
infrastructure. To find out more about the Highway Watch® program, go to
